Deep ruby in color. On the nose, juicy stewed black cherry, black plum, red apple, hints of menthol and raisins. On the palate, smooth tannins with mild grip, black cherry reduction, cedar, black plum jam, hints of black currants, raisins, and faint herbal notes. Medium finish but surprisingly elegant. 88 points.
