Plum ruby in color with slightly pink rim. On the nose, blackberry, black raspberry, bramble, black plum, dark chocolate, hints of raw bacon and black pepper or ripe figs. On the palate, medium plus body, medium to medium plus acidity, black plum, blackberry reduction, dark chocolate, mocha, leather, stewed figs. Medium finish. Fairly solid but lacking a little bit of complexity, depth, and finish, and a little hot. 89+ points.
